My name is
Annie Vardaxoglou,

I’m a psychologist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I earned my psychology degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed a master’s in Neuropsychology at Leiden University in the Netherlands. I’m currently pursuing my PhD at Hospital Clínic in Barcelona, Spain, where my research focuses on predicting the development of anxiety and depression through brain-based measures.

More about my approach

Therapy is tailored to each person’s needs and goals, and I prioritize building a collaborative, trusting relationship. Together, we work toward the treatment goals you bring to therapy.

My aim is not only to address current difficulties but also to help you develop skills to manage future challenges effectively. In the long term, therapy focuses on applying what you’ve learned in session to everyday life—even after treatment has ended.

For this reason, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the few approaches with strong research support for producing lasting change and maintaining treatment gains.
